Kal-El

Born on the technologically advanced world of Krypton, Kal-El is the biological son of scientist Jor-El and his wife Lara. As Krypton faces imminent destruction due to its unstable core, Jor-El places his infant son in a spacecraft calibrated to Earth, hoping the yellow sun will grant the child incredible abilities and a chance to survive.

The vessel crash-lands in the rural town of Smallville, Kansas, where it is discovered by kindly farmers Jonathan and Martha Kent. They adopt the boy, naming him Clark Kent, and raise him with strong Midwestern values while secretly guiding him to understand and control his emerging powers such as super strength, speed, and invulnerability.

As a young adult, Clark moves to Metropolis and secures a job as a reporter for the Daily Planet, allowing him to stay close to breaking news while protecting his secret identity. There he meets Lois Lane, a determined journalist who becomes his confidante and love interest, and together they confront the city's many threats.

Throughout his career as Superman, Kal-El faces formidable foes ranging from the genius industrialist Lex Luthor to the warlike General Zod and the unstoppable creature Doomsday. Despite the overwhelming odds, he adheres to a strict moral code that forbids killing and emphasizes the protection of innocent life, often putting himself at great risk to uphold those ideals.
