Overview
The universe spans a vast network of star systems linked by quantum wormholes. Within this expanse, diverse civilizations vie for influence, while ancient relics hint at a forgotten origin.
In depth
The year is 2741, and the Galactic Concordat stretches across a thousand star systems, each world contributing its unique culture to a fragile alliance. At the heart of this federation lies the citadel world of Nova Prime, where the Council of Elders debates the fate of the galaxy.
Transportation between the stars is made possible by quantum wormhole gates, engineered by the ancient precursor race known as the Architects. These gates generate stable tunnels through spacetime, allowing starships to traverse interstellar distances in moments.
The Concordat is composed of diverse species, including the amphibious Krel, the avian Zephyr, and the silicon-based Crystallines, each bringing distinct perspectives to governance. Trade routes weave through the void, exchanging exotic technologies, bioengineered organisms, and cultural artifacts.
However, a shadowy coalition called the Void Covenant threatens to dismantle the wormhole network, believing that such connectivity erodes the independence of individual worlds. As tensions rise, a covert task force is assembled to infiltrate the Covenant's stronghold and uncover the truth behind their motives.
