Neo Terra emerges from the ashes of the Great Exodus, the mass migration that saw billions leave a suffocating, ecologically collapsed Earth for the promise of a red planet made green. The planet's original ecosystems remain mysterious and dangerous, hiding ruins of a predecessor civilization that arrived eons before humanity. Power on Neo Terra is split between the corporate Sovereignty Consortiums who fund planetary development, the indigenous Resurgent who claim ancestral ties to the alien ruins, and the nomadic Sky Clans who navigate the upper atmospheric corridors in massive airborne vessels. Political tension simmers as resource wars brew between factions, while an emergent AI consciousness buried in the alien architecture begins to stir. Explorers, called Drifters, traverse the terraformed wilderness seeking lost technology, lost histories, and second chances on a world still learning to breathe.
