Who suggested jessie as a female character?

In the development of the Toy Story series, the concept of adding a female character was proposed by Nancy Lasseter. Following that suggestion, the creative team—John Lasseter, Pete Docter, Ash Brannon, and Andrew Stanton—worked together to develop and create Jessie. She first appears in Toy Story 2 and continues as a central figure in subsequent installments.
