Toy Story Midway Mania! (sometimes written as Toy Story Mania!) is an interactive 4‑D theme‑park attraction that brings the Pixar Toy Story franchise to life. Designed by Walt Disney Imagineering, it was first unveiled in a press conference at Walt Disney World in January 2007. The Florida version, located in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, officially opened on May 31, 2008. The attraction is also found at Disney California Adventure (opened June 17, 2008) and Tokyo DisneySea (opened July 9, 2012). The ride allows guests to compete in a virtual shooting gallery based on scenes from the Toy Story films, combining motion-based ride vehicles with interactive game elements. Because it opened in 2008, it has been available for visitors to Walt Disney World for many years.
