Is it possible to import gta v story characters into gta online?

Grand Theft Auto Online is a separate online multiplayer component of Grand Theft Auto V. While both games share the same open world, the multiplayer mode is designed around a customisable silent protagonist and a roster of unique online characters. The story mode protagonists, Michael, Franklin, and Trevor, exist only within the single‑player narrative and are not available as playable characters in the online environment. Rockstar has not released any official method to transfer or import those story characters into Online. As a result, players remain limited to creating and using their own online avatar in Grand Theft Auto Online.
