Can you use story mode currency in gta online?

Grand Theft Auto Online is an entirely separate gameplay experience from the single‑player story mode of Grand Theft Auto V. While the single‑player campaign rewards players with in‑game money that can be spent on items and properties within that mode, the online component operates with its own currency—money earned through missions, races, and other multiplayer activities. This currency cannot be exchanged for or used to purchase items in GTA Online, and vice versa. Therefore, story mode money has no function in the online multiplayer environment.
