Can you transfer story mode progress to gta online?

Grand Theft Auto Online is an independent multiplayer component of Grand Theft Auto V. The game separates the single-player campaign (story mode) from the online experience. Progress, such as story missions, character level, and earned money, is kept within the single-player mode and does not carry over to the online world. Online progression is tracked separately and starts fresh for each player account. Therefore, achievements or progress made in story mode do not influence or transfer to Grand Theft Auto Online.
