Can you transfer progress between gta online and story mode?

Grand Theft Auto Online and Grand Theft Auto V operate as distinct game modes. The online component, released in 2013 for consoles and 2015 for PC, is a multiplayer sandbox that tracks its own progression, such as missions, money, property, and character customization. The single‑player story mode, meanwhile, follows the narrative arcs of the characters Michael, Franklin, and Trevor and records progression exclusively within that mode. Game designers at Rockstar North have not implemented any feature that synchronizes or transfers progress between these two systems.
