Can you transfer gta online progress to a new console?

Grand Theft Auto Online is a persistent online service tied to a player's Rockstar Account. While the game can be installed on multiple consoles, the in‑game progress, such as money, vehicles, and property, is stored on Rockstar's servers rather than locally on the console. As a result, when a player switches to a new console they can log into the same Rockstar Account and access the same online data. However, any progress that is only stored locally—such as achievements or certain offline data—cannot be transferred to another system.
