Can i use my gta online character in story mode?

Grand Theft Auto V consists of two distinct gameplay experiences: the single‑player story mode and the multiplayer component known as Grand Theft Auto Online. The story mode follows the three protagonists Michael, Franklin, and Trevor, and it uses a fixed narrative that is independent of any player‑created characters. In contrast, GTA Online allows players to create and customize a silent protagonist who can be personalized with different skins, outfits, and accessories. Rockstar Games has not provided any mechanism for transferring an Online character, with its customizations or progress, into the story mode. Consequently, any character you build in Online will remain exclusive to the multiplayer environment, and the story mode will continue to feature its original protagonists. Players who wish to experience the single‑player storyline must do so with the characters designed for that mode.
