Can i transfer my gta v story progress to online?

Grand Theft Auto Online is a separate online multiplayer component of Grand Theft Auto V, developed and published by Rockstar Games. It is set in the same fictional state of San Andreas but operates independently of the single‑player story mode. The game allows up to thirty players to explore the open world and participate in cooperative or competitive modes, but it does not import or synchronize the narrative progress, character development, or missions completed in the single‑player campaign.
