Can i import my story mode save into gta online?

Grand Theft Auto Online is a separate multiplayer experience that runs on its own save system and does not share data with the single‑player story mode of Grand Theft Auto V. The game’s online component is designed to allow up to 30 players to explore the open world of San Andreas simultaneously, but progress, characters, and items from the story campaign are not transferred.
