Toy Story Midway Mania! is an interactive 4‑D theme‑park attraction that brings the Pixar Toy Story franchise to life. Designed by Walt Disney Imagineering, the ride uses a motion‑sensing simulator and 3‑D visuals to let guests compete in a carnival‑style shooting gallery. The Florida version of the attraction opened on May 31, 2008 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, one of the four parks that make up Walt Disney World. In addition to the Florida park, the same attraction can be found at Disney California Adventure and Tokyo DisneySea, opening in those locations in June 2008 and July 2012 respectively. There are currently no other Toy Story‑themed attractions in the other Walt Disney World parks—Magic Kingdom, Epcot or Animal Kingdom. Thus, visitors to Disney World who want a Toy Story experience should head to Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
