S. S. Rajamouli

Born on October 14, 1973, in Kumbakonam, Tamil Nadu, S. S. Rajamouli was raised in a family deeply rooted in the arts—his father, K. V. Vijayendra Prasad, was also a director and screenwriter. Growing up surrounded by cinema and storytelling traditions, Rajamouli developed an early passion for visual narratives and began his career assisting veteran directors before making his directorial debut with the Telugu film 'Dhoom' in 2004.
