Kevin Feige

Kevin Feige was born in Boston in 1973 and developed an early passion for cinema, particularly superhero films and serial adventures. After graduating from the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts, he worked in various production roles before joining New Line Cinema, where he contributed to several genre films. His tenure at New Line gave him valuable experience in budget management and large-scale production, skills that would later prove essential in shaping Marvel Studios' ambitious roadmap. In 2000, he was recruited by Marvel Enterprises to help oversee the fledgling film division, which at the time was struggling financially and creatively. Upon joining, Feige quickly recognized the potential of bringing Marvel’s vast library of characters to the silver screen through an interconnected storytelling model. He played a crucial role in greenlighting the first Iron Man movie in 2008, which became a surprise hit and laid the foundation for what would evolve into one of the most successful film franchises in history.
