The Lambeau Family

Set in the fictional town of Ironhaven, Pennsylvania, The Lambeau Family begins in the 1970s with patriarch Frank Lambeau, a former steelworker who transforms a struggling diner into a regional franchise. His wife, Mae, a fierce homemaker and secret artist, nurtures their three children—CJ, a rebellious musician; Lila, a driven lawyer; and Ben, a quiet inventor—while secretly funding underground art collectives. As the family’s empire expands, tensions emerge: CJ’s music becomes a voice for the working class, clashing with his father’s corporate pragmatism; Lila betrays the family to expose corruption; and Ben’s inventions attract both corporate interest and government scrutiny. The 2008 financial crisis forces the family to confront their fractured relationships and the cost of their choices. By the 2020s, the Lambeaus grapple with social media fame, climate activism, and a scandalous inheritance battle that threatens to destroy everything they built.
