Forky

Forky begins as a simple craft project made from a lollipop stick, googly eyes, and a plastic fork by Joyce in an attempt to entertain her son Forky. When she accidentally drops him in a trash can, Forky's inherent consciousness awakens, leading him to believe he is trash and must be returned to the dump. This creates a philosophical journey as he grapples with questions of identity and purpose. Woody and the other toys embark on a road trip to save Forky from the landfill, ultimately convincing him that he is a beloved toy to Andy. Throughout the adventure, Forky's innocent perspective and literal interpretation of the world provides comedic relief while exploring deeper themes about what makes someone valuable. His relationship with Woody evolves from antagonistic to deeply affectionate, with Woody ultimately accepting Forky as family. Forky's signature phrase 'I'm trash!' becomes a running gag that contrasts his genuine desire for belonging with his self-perception as worthless.
